                           पत्थर बना दिया मुझे रोने नही दिया,

              दामन भी तेरे ग़म ने भिगोने नहीं दिया,

                   The stone made me cry,

       Daman also did not let your gham soaked,

शायरी उदास

     कौन सा वो ज़ख्मे-दिल था जो तर ओ ताज़ा न था,

     ज़िन्दगी में इतने ग़म थे जिनका अंदाज़ा न था,

     अर्श' उनकी झील सी आँखों का उसमें क्या कुसूर,

      डूबने वालों को ही गहराई का अंदाज़ा न था

Which was the wound-hearted, which was not refreshing,There were so many misconceptions in life that they were not,Arsh, 'What is wrong with their eyes in the lake,The drowners did not have any sense of depth

शायरी उदास

             तुमने हमें बस एक दीये की तरह समझा,

         रात हुई तो जला दिया सुबह हुई तो बुझा दिया।

You understood us just like a leniency,If it happened in the night, then burnt it in the morning and then extinguished.

उदास शायरी हिंदी में प्रेमिका के लिए,

         आँखों मे आकर बैठ गई आँसू ओ की लहर,

           पलकों पे कोई ख्वाब पिरोने नहीं दिया।

           Sitting in the eyes came the tears of O,

           There was no scratches on the eyelids.

उदास शायरी अंग्रेजी में, 

                तन्हाईयाँ तुम्हारा पता पूछती रहीं,

              शब् भर तुम्हारी याद ने सौने नहीं दिया,

       Your memory did not give a sense to you,
